  • Eminem Addresses Leaked Rihanna Diss
Eminem is speaking out following a leaked track on which he disses Rihanna. A seven-second snippet of the song, entitled “Things Get Worse,” hit the internet last week before eventually leaking in full over the weekend. It was originally recorded for Eminem’s 2009 album Relapse and a reworked version without the diss appeared on B.o.B.’s “Things Get Worse.” The track finds Em rapping about Chris Brown’s assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna. In the clip, the 47-year-old rapper says, “Of course I side with Chris Brown, I’d beat a bitch down too.” Elsewhere on the track, Eminem raps about beating a sex worker “mercilessly” and leaving her “for dead,” putting Natasha Bedingfield in a washing machine, and murdering actress Dakota Fanning. Following the decade-old leak, Eminem’s publicist Dennis Dennehy has addressed the track. “This is a leak of something that’s over 10 years old,” he said in a statement to The Guardian. “After Eminem recorded it, he scrapped it, and rewrote it. Obviously he and Rihanna have a great relationship.” The song was recorded just months after Brown was charged with assaulting Rihanna. Eminem and Rihanna went on to release several collaborations including 2010’s “Love the Way You Lie” and “Love the Way You Lie (Part II),” as well as “The Monster” for 2013’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2. At the time, Rihanna was surprised that Em wanted to collaborate with her given his past. “I was like, ‘What? Eminem wants to do a song with a pop artist? With me?’ ‘Cause, you know, he always raps and talks shit about pop artists and pop female artists,” she told MTV News in 2010. “So it was more of a shock to me than anything, and then that was the first thought. The second thought was, ‘Of course I’ll do a song with Eminem.’ That’s just something that doesn’t come around every day. And then thirdly, I heard the song, and I just loved it.” Read more »

  • Wendy Williams Calls Nicki Minaj a ‘Washed-Up Rapper’
    true
Nicki Minaj fans are dragging Wendy Williams after she seemingly dissed the rapper on her show. The daytime talk shot host took a subliminal shot at the Queen during Monday’s episode of “The Wendy Williams Show.” “There’s this soon-to-be washed-up rapper who can’t keep my name out of its mouth,” said Williams. “I love it. I sit here like, ‘OK, keep talking. Say some more.'” Wendy Williams calls Nicki Minaj a “soon to be washed up rapper.” This comes after Nicki threw shots at Wendy & her ex husband on Queen Radio because Wendy criticized Nicki’s marriage. pic.twitter.com/r6CPR1S8ww — Music News Facts (@musicnews_facts) November 11, 2019 The Barbz were convinced that she was talking about their idol following Nicki’s comments about Williams on Queen Radio. “It’s not about doing your job,” said Nicki on the Nov. 2 episode (via Complex). “There are people who report the news and there are people who do it with an evil intent in their heart, viciousness. And I pray for you because I know you’re hurting and I know you must be sick and humiliated.” She also blasted Williams by alluding to her marital woes with estranged husband Kevin Hunter. “When a woman isn’t really being loved at home, the viciousness is a different type. So I really wanted to pray for you today, because look at where you are now in your life,” added Nicki. “You’re sat up there being vicious all this time, and paid for that man’s mistress all these years. You paid for her shopping sprees, you paid for her hotels—bitch, you probably even paid for her GYN bills, you paid to have that baby delivered, ho. How you doin’, stupid. Wake up, hos.” Williams ignited the feud when she dissed Nicki’s new husband Kenneth Petty on air. “I don’t know what he does for a living, I just know that he did time in jail for—he’s a sex offender,” she said. “Well, she’s no stranger to that because her brother’s in jail for sex offending… Well, first-degree manslaughter. Now, he served seven years in prison and he’s also a sex offender. So that means that he…is a manslaughter a killer? Okay. So, he’s a killer and a sex offender… Well Nicki, congratulations.” As fans pointed out, Williams praised Minaj on an earlier episode of her show. “When you think of Nicki Minaj, just know she’s a winner. She’s winning,” she said at the time. I know Wendy Williams wasn’t referring to Nicki when she said “washed up rapper” pic.twitter.com/IvK6wN5NYB — Kenny G (@DaRealKhefner) November 11, 2019 The Barbz didn’t let her comments go unnoticed and took to social media to rip Williams. • Drake Responds After Getting Booed at Camp Flog Gnaw
Drake is not letting the haters get him down. While surprising the crowd at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival at L.A.’s Dodger Stadium on Sunday, the rapper received a not-so-warm welcome. After performing a few songs, he was booed by a group of fans who were hoping to see Frank Ocean instead. “If you want to keep going,” he said, “I will keep going tonight.” But the boos got louder, prompting him to end his set 20 minutes early. Before leaving, a gratuitous Drake thanked the crowd. “It’s been love,” he said. “I love ya’ll. I go by the name of Drake. • Rick Ross Reveals His Favorite 50 Cent Verse
Rick Ross and 50 Cent may still be at odds, but that hasn’t stopped Ross from listening to his music. Taking to Instagram Stories over the weekend, the MMG boss shared a video of himself riding in his car while playing his favorite 50 Cent verse from “Hate It or Love It,” his 2005 collaboration with The Game. “I like how the ni**a says his mama was kissing a girl,” Rozay tells a fellow passenger. “That shit was hard. That ni**a’s mama was a bull dyke.” He then told his friend to play back the verse. “That shit was hard,” he added. “That was that ni**a’s best verse. I ain’t gonna lie.” Ross continued to rap along to the track before laughing when he heard the lyrics about 50’s bike being stolen. (@hiphopnewsnow) November 11, 2019 Despite his love for “Hate It or Love It,” the two have been beefing for over a decade. During an interview with “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” in July, Ross was asked about his ongoing feud with 50 and if they would ever collaborate. “If 50 Cent still had value, I may have been done it. But not being funny, homie just ain’t that dude no more,” he said. “We was riding through L.A. smoking to ‘Hate It or Love It’ yesterday. That shit was dope. We was saluting Cool & Dre, that’s Miami who did the production. Game and 50 Cent, that was dope. If he was still making music like that, of course.” 50 fired back at his rival in a subsequent interview with Complex. “I don’t know what his value is to music culture at this moment,” said the “Power” producer. “I never made music with him. I don’t have interest in making music with him.” Read more »
